Cephalic X-ray
For a correct and exact orthodontic treatment a so called cephalic x-ray is absolutely necessary. If you or one of your children is interested in or needs a regulation of the jaw, for the first examination a lateral picture of the jaw is made by our orthodontists, additionally to the panorama x-ray. Like this the thickness of the bone and the skeletal structure can exactly be estimated, which is necessary for the correct planning of an orthodontic treatment, whether or not it is visible or invisible or with which kind of braces whatsoever. It is evident that teeth can only be moved in the existent bone and a lot of treatment time and work can be saved, if you can estimate how far and where you can move the teeth in the bone and if you can also measure and calculate it in advance. Like this a wonderful smile with perfect teeth can be assured.
