In the previous years it has come to the development of most modern x-ray devices of famous producers in x-ray diagnostics. At first panoramic x-rays were made in the the x-ray rooms, primarily in sitting position and then in standing position. These x-rays were not yet this short of radium rays and were made on conventional radiographic films. In this case the patient wears a lead apron in order to minimize the radiation. There are also various devices that vary in poficiency and in the spectrum of diagnosis. We have the complex appliance from Vatech. This device works with a minimized radiation dose and there is no conventional radiographic film but the information are worked up and saved digitally and are visible on the screen. Like this all photographs in each of our oridnation can be searched fast and without any problems.
These ones can be given to the patient to take it with him on a Printout or a CD or it can be sent to the patient via e-mail. These photographs are scalable, modifiable in structure and are much sharper and more precise in order to notice changes easier and like this to enable the best x-ray diagnostics.

On this photograph the whole periodontal apparatus, the surrounding structures, the jaw joint and the maxillary sinus are clearly noticeable.
Nowadays the so called topography is a very important element of the preinvestigation for the implantation. Thanks to this an even more precise diagnosis for the implantation can be achieved and complications can thus be prevented. This kind of digital 3D photography is very sparsely spread because there are very expensive and complicated x-ray units are necessary. We can offer this service to our patients. Furthermore we invite extern dentists to commit their patients to us for valuable 3D x-ray radiographs as well as topographies.
Often x-ray is avoided during pregnancy. According to our digital appliances that are short of radium rays, it is also possible to make an x-ray during pregnancy if it is necessary, but of course with enhanced protection.
